Germany Student Visa - New Changes

New procedure of opening a student’s blocked account termed as “Sperrkonto” with the German Deutsche Bank for visa after receiving an acceptance letter from the German Institutes is as follows:

The minimum amount  to be deposited in the German Bank has increased from 7908 Euros to 8040 Euros, thereby the account holder can dispose of a monthly amount of Euro 670 from the so opened blocked account.

In short: Students should open a blocked account ("Sperrkonto") in Germany in the name of the applicant showing a minimum balance of Euro 8.040,- and the remark that the account holder can dispose of a monthly amount of EURO 670.

Kindly do let me know if you need some more information regarding Germany Visas and Procedure , We will be glad to help you further.
